A Series as Big as the War it Chronicles

Jonathan Sumption, Oxford-trained historian, long-time barrister, and recently appointed Supreme Court Justice has been writing a narrative history of the whole Hundred Years War for decades. He has three volumes out so far, with the fourth (of five) planned for 2015’s anniversary of Agincourt. Great stuff, but set aside some time to read these big books.
