Dear Santa…

What I really want for Christmas is Philip Comfort’s New Testament Text and Translation Commentary for Logos. It’s the most layman- friendly guide to Greek variants, and goes totally overboard in explaining (N)KJV vs modern translation differences. It is a great resource in these Bart Ehrman-influenced times and in general bible version discussions.

Besides, Santa, I want to have complete geekspasms over textual variants in church, because I know it confuses and bemuses my fellow church members trying to figure out why the pastor has that funny look on his face when he sees me geekspasmming out in the pews.
