Dear Mr. Santorum and Fellow Conservatives…

In a country where something like ten percent of the population is in church on Sunday on a regular basis, running around talking about Christian values is no way to get elected President.

Adding Saturday services voters doesn’t help your chances much, either.

  1. This is the nice thing about Santorum, he really does “believe” in the Judeo-Christian moral law! A consistent Roman Catholic, at least by moral doctrine. He would have my vote myself (if I could vote). But I still like old Newt also! He is also a Roman Catholic now, and an old sinner, just like the rest of us in reality!

  2. Fr. Robert,

    Re:Obama– please don’t remind me.

Re: wing Nuts: Well, a great part of American voters are fit to be catalogued under “Grasping Spoiled Brats”. They get the officials they deserve.

Much of public policy I feel falls under five year old psychology: You don’t buy a kid a Happy Meal without knowing he expects a Happy Meal every trip to McDonalds afterwards.

      • “Brits” I confess reminds me of misspelled “Brights”, about which the less said the better (it wasn’t a Bright idea).

America has more than two parties; it’s just the others barely count. Which is good because a lot of voters are easily confused.
