Read the hyperbole and unsubstantiated assumptions in the article and you too will sigh. I realize everyone nowadays wants their work to be “sexy”, (as someone said in a parking garage, “Follow the money”) but doesn’t a regard for truth, scholarly discipline, and, yes, not embarrassing yourself when calmer heads weigh in, matter any more?
I mean, if he followed these guys example, Dan Wallace would be announcing discoveries of NT manuscripts handwritten by various Church Fathers complete with unique corrections.
You want tourism, build a bible theme park. Leave some credibility to the scholarly disciplines. Please.
